Crane garden buildings understand that the majority of people do not have time to keep maintaining garden buildings each year.  With this in mind they have worked closely with Sikkens and Valtti paint systems to overcome this extra work.

Both Sikkens and Valtti paint systems are optional but if required both systems are factory applied with not just one coat but up to four coats including undercoats as required.

Valtti colours are soft netural paint tones and Sikkens gives more of a translucent finish so the natural wood grain can been appreciated.

Fully installed by Crane's own experienced installation teams.  All prices include VAT and installation onto prepare base.

Details and Specification; 

• Timber Construction; Made from high grade Scandinavian Redwood sourced from sustainable plantations.  Buildings are constructed using 19 x 125mm shiplap cladding on 38 x 75mm planed framing.
• Floor; 19 x 125mm Tongue and groove floor boards on 38 x 75mm tanalized planed floor joists set at no more than 450mm centres.
• Windows; All windows are joinery made by our own joiners and glazed using toughened glass.  Double glazing is standard in the Garden Office buildings.  However is its an optional extra on all other buildings. 
• Roofing; Roofing consists of 19 x 125mm tongue and groove match boarding on 38 x 75mm planed framing.  This is covered with green mineralised 35kg roofing felt. Optional upgrades include Blue label cedar shingles or top quality slate effect tiles in grey or red.  Trusses are used on all buildings 3.6m or longer.
• Lining and Insulation; Lining and insulation are availalbe on all buildings.  Thus providing an all year round work space.  Lining is available in 12mm Oak faced ply (ideal for shelving and other office fixtures) or Matchboard lining in 16mm x 100mm.  Manufactured using a breathable membrane paper and cavity filled with insulation.
• Security Pack; Security pack option includes; Masterlock (heavy duty sliding bolt with fully encased brass lock - anti-sawing, picking, cropping and prising), Window Bars (12mm stainless steel bars are mortised into the top and bottom window transoms to prevent intrusion even if the glass gets broken) plus Secured Hinges (plated T hinges are fixed with non-returnable anti-vandal screws)
• Internal solid timber door can be added at extra cost.
• Extra windows and doors can be added depending on building style. POA.
