- Vacancy: Sales / Admin Assistant
- Location: Oakley, Bedford, MK43 7SZ
- Salary: £ Competitive salary.
- Job Term: Part Time.
Hours / Days of Work: 10am to 5pm, Thursday, Friday and 9am to 5pm each Saturday. With one hour for lunch. (19 hours per week - must include Saturdays each week)
The Role:

Creating and maintaining accurate database correspondance for new enquiries, existing jobs and product order processing.
-
Providing customer service and contacting new leads. (The job does not involve cold calling)

Learning about the products, features and benefits and be able to price accurately to provide customer quotations.

Database typing and accurate record keeping of conversations with customers.

Organising and maintaining diary appointments and be familar with the local area and surrounding locations.

Taking customer payments, dealing with cash, cheques and PDQ machines.
The person
To be considered for this role you should ideally have sales and administration experience and be able to touch type with accuracy. Have strong communication skills and be a good listener. Be familar with Microsoft Excel and the ability to pick up new systems and databases quickly. Have a good level of numeracy and English to GCSE level.
